Steamed salmon
What you'll need
- Salmon
- Vegetable stock
- Scallions
- Ginger
- Lemon
- A steamer insert!
What you'll do
Clean the salmon by removing its peel and any leftover fishbones using a sharp knife and a tweezer. Bring some water to the boil and add some nice soluble vegetable stock cube in it (or just bring stock to the boil). Put the salmon onto the steamer insert with some aromatics (I used grated ginger, the whites and greens of my scallions, some lemon slices and lemon juices).
Put the lid on and steam for 10 minutes. The result is a super tasty, super delicate fish that is cooked and full of tastes and aromas. Perfect served with glass noodles or rice.
