What you'll need

  • Chocolate
  • Cocoa powder
  • White sugar
  • Salt
  • Brown sugar
  • Flour
  • Vanilla extract

What you'll do

For the 🍫 chocolate batter: break down the chocolate into pieces and mix together with 1/4 cup of cocoa powder. Melt 1 cup of hot butter directly on the stove (in a pot obviously...) and pour into the chocolate and cocoa powder. This will melt the chocolate if you mix vigorously. Put this aside.

For the 👩‍🍳 general batter: mix 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 or 2 tablespoons of Vanilla Extract, and 4 to 6 eggs (both whites and yolks together). Mix vigorously. When you have a fluffy, smooth composite add the chocolate batter and a bit of salt to make the flavour pop.

For the 🔥 baking: sieve 1/2 cup of flour into the batter you made while mixing. Take an oven dish or casserole, butter it, and put in some oven paper. Pour the batter into it, and spread evenly across the oven dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Take the oven dish out, put on some rock or other rough salt, then bake for 20-40 more minutes at 180 to 200 degrees (longer bake will lead to more crust). It's done when the outside is crispy, but the inside fudgy.
